This hand-blown glass bowl is a stunning fusion of artistry and functionality that adds a touch of warmth to any home. Inspired by the artist's daughter, Lyrah, this series is a celebration of nature's treasures seen through a child's eyes. The color palette is a vivid symphony of glass chips and powders that seamlessly blend into both traditional and modern contemporary décor and an optic mold is utilized to create the intricate ridges. The sand color pattern is inspired by the subtle tones of the American Southwest, the rich hues of tree bark and dead leaves, as well as rocks and stones. After the bowl is blown, the piece is sandblasted, the matte finish invites the viewer to appreciate the subtle details on the bowl's surface, adding an extra layer of visual intrigue.
