This hand-blown glass bowl is a stunning fusion of artistry and functionality that adds a touch of warmth to any home. Inspired by the artist's daughter, Lyrah, this series is a celebration of nature's treasures seen through a child's eyes. The bowl becomes a perfect resting place for the small treasures collected on walks in the woods or even a cherished wedding band.
The color palette is a vivid symphony of glass chips and powders that seamlessly blend into both traditional and modern contemporary décor and an optic mold is utilized to create the intricate ridges. The purple color pattern is inspired by inspired by the enchanting beauty of the hydrangea and Lilac flowers in my Garden, the elegance of Amethyst and the Fields of Lavender in Provence. After the bowl is blown, the piece is sandblasted, the matte finish invites the viewer to appreciate the subtle details on the bowl's surface, adding an extra layer of visual intrigue.
