Workshops are a fun way to explore the art of glassblowing. My classes are designed to give students a well-rounded experience with this hot, molten material. These fun, informative classes will cover a brief history of glassblowing, proper hot shop etiquette, safety concerns, demonstrations, as well as hands on experience in working with hot glass. With over 30 years of experience, I will guide students on a safe and fun adventure working in this age-old art form.

  • Workshops are $250 per person.
  • Class sizes are limited to 4 students, with a minimum of 2
  • Open to students ages 14 or older, accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No exceptions.

Class sizes are limited to 4 students to provide an intimate studio environment and to maximize learning potential. The small class size ensures each person receives quality one on one instruction and ample access to tools, equipment, and materials.

To register, pick out a date or 2 and contact me to schedule your glass experience. It is suggested to reach out to your friends and family to find 2-3 others that are interested in this experience. No artistic ability or interest is required. This is a one-of-a-kind adventure is for young and old. A $50 deposit is required to secure your date.

Classes meet on Saturdays or Sundays, 9am till 4pm CST (w/lunch break) Weekday classes are also available.

Intro to Glass

This one-day class is designed for the beginner, that wants a fun, informative experience with hot glass. This workshop will focus on working with solid glass to create a paperweight, flower or sculpture. Students will learn to gather glass from the furnace, marver and block, to shape and gain control of the glass, as well as how to add color to the glass. Students will learn proper techniques through demonstrations and repetition and should expect to bring home 4 pieces.

Class sizes are limited to 4 students to provide an intimate studio environment and to maximize learning potential. The small class size ensures each person receives quality one on one instruction and ample access to tools, equipment, and materials.


Intro to Glassblowing

This one-day class is designed for the beginner, who has taken my Intro to Glass, that wants a fun, informative experience with glassblowing. This workshop will focus on blowing glass to create a juice glass. Students will learn to gather glass from the furnace, marver and block, to shape and gain control of the glass, as well as how to add color to the glass. Students will learn proper techniques through demonstrations and repetition and should expect to bring home 1-2 pieces.
